Sorry for the lack of news lately, so lets get caught up with all the WALL•E news!

First of all the WALL•E soundtrack has a new album cover.

There is a new WALL•E vignette out called WALL•E and the Bouncy Balls. (watch it below)

There is yet another video of the animatronic WALL•E, this time he visited the Your Morning studio (watch this video below as well)

Finding Nemo will air on ABC's "Wonderful World of Disney" Saturday, June 7th from 8:00-11:00 p.m., ET. with a sneek peek of WALL•E during the movie.

Victor Navone tells us at his blog that the Pixar wrap party for WALL•E is tomorrow night! (June 1st)

The GAMES section of the official WALL•E website is now up and running with 2 new games. The games are called Space Escape and WALL•E's Treasure Round•Up.

WALL•E has officially been given a G rating by the mpaa and you heard it here first that WALL•E has an official runtime of 1 hour 37 minutes and 43 seconds.

You also heard it here first that Presto has an official runtime of 5 minutes and 14 seconds.

Once again you heard it here first that instead of getting an Up teaser trailer in front of WALL•E I am told that we will be seeing a teaser trailer for Disney’s Bolt instead. I'm very upset with that.

Breaking News: New Pixar Films Announced!

Disney•Pixar has just announced their upcoming film slates in this press release!

Pixar’s release schedule is as follows:

June 27, 2008 – WALL•E (Andrew Stanton)
May 29, 2009 – Up (Pete Docter/Bob Peterson)
October 2, 2009 – Toy Story in 3-D (John Lasseter)
February 12, 2010 – Toy Story 2 in 3-D (John Lasseter)
June 18, 2010 – Toy Story 3 in 3-D (Lee Unkrich)
Summer 2011 – Newt (Gary Rydstrom)
Christmas 2011 – The Bear and the Bow (Brenda Chapman)
Summer 2012 – Cars 2 (Brad Lewis)

Also we now have all the voice talent for WALL•E listed: Fred Willard, Jeff Garlin, John Ratzenberger, Sigourney Weaver and Kathy Najimy. Thomas Newman as we know is scoring the film.

Last but not least the official Cars 2 synopsis:

I'm proud to say that I was the first to tell you that there would be a Cars 2 last July.

Also announced is that Disney•Pixar will release every animated film starting with Up, in Disney Digital 3-D.

WALL•E Screening at Pixar Report!

DailyGame.net has written a very nice report from a screening of WALL•E that was held at Pixar yesterday and the tour of the Pixar that went along with it. During the tour, Tom Porter(Associate Producer of WALL•E) said that they had just recored that last bit of audio today(April 3rd), he also said that they have about 210 shots left to complete, and hope to wrap the film up by the end of this month.

A spy for /film tell them the following:

"Pixar is busy building scale models and rumor has it they are re-creating San Francisco in computer imaging, based on original photos taken from 1906."

/film also say that they're hearing that it will look extremely authentic. Pixar is unofficially eyeing a Winter 2009 release!

Bird signs with Warner Bros. and Pixar to make 1906!

According to HollywoodReporter Brad Bird has just signed with Warner Bros. and Disney/Pixar to make his live-action feature directorial debut with 1906

"The story centers on a college student who begins to investigate the murder of his father, uncovering a web of deceit that has left the city vulnerable to the sort of fire that breaks out when the Great Earthquake of 1906 hits San Francisco."

Brad Bird is rewriting the original script by John Logan. Paula Weinstein is producing the film, and John Walker will co-finance the movie.

WALL*E-WONKA (an insider for AICN) has sent AICN a few details about what Disney has coming up in a few years. One of those details stated that Cars 2 is being eyed a 2011 release slot, something I have said before. I think there have been to much infomation that says there will be a Cars 2 to say there won't one, don't you? We'll just have to wait and see.

New WALL•E Trailer Coming March 14th with Horton!

According to The Pixar Blog a new WALL•E trailer will be shown in front of Blue Sky Studios’ Horton Hears A Who! on March 14th. The trailer will be similar to the trailer that was leaked earlier this month (which you can still watch right here), but this will be a domestic not a international trailer. The trailer will be available online around the time of Horton's theatrical release.

Ratatouille Wins Best Animated Feature Film Oscar!

Brad Bird won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year for Ratatouille at the 80th Annual Academy Awards!

This is Pixar’s 5th nomination and 3rd win for the Best Animated Feature Film Oscar, this being Brad Bird's 2nd out of the three, the other belongs to Andrew Stanton.

WALL•E at WonderCon Report!

Peter from /film was at WonderCon for the WALL•E session today. Peter has posted a report about the session and has also provided descriptions of all 4 clips shown during the session. (Spoiler Waring!)

During the WALL•E session Andrew Stanton confirmed that John Raztenberger will appear in WALL•E playing a character called John.

The Pizza Planet Truck will also make another cameo appearance in a Pixar film. Stanton told fans to look for it in the first 20 minutes of the film. I bet that the truck will be in one of the pile of garbage.

Also there is a possibility that WALL•E could be released in Disney Digital 3-D, although, he said, “We’re not planning for 3-D, but you never know. It can always be done in the post(-production) process.”

Up an "original" Pixar story not retelling of Don Quixote!

According to a report from The Pixar Blog, Up will NOT be a retelling of Don Quixote like once thought…

“I've just spoken to someone at the Pixar press department (I believe her name was Hillary; she was quite friendly) who told me
that Up's storyline will be "original" and not a version of any previous work.

She did not wish to comment specifically on the story about Up being a retelling of the classic tale Don Quixote, except to say that Pixar was "not responsible" for the story. And not surprisingly, she declined to give me any new details regarding Up.”
