June 27, 2008 – WALL•E (Andrew Stanton)

May 29, 2009 – Up (Pete Docter/Bob Peterson)

Summer 2011 – Newt (Gary Rydstrom)

Christmas 2011 – The Bear and the Bow (Brenda Chapman)

Summer 2012 – Cars 2 (Brad Lewis)

Also we now have all the voice talent for WALL•E listed: Fred Willard, Jeff Garlin, John Ratzenberger, Sigourney Weaver and Kathy Najimy. Thomas Newman as we know is scoring the film.

Here is the official synopsis for Up:

From the Academy Award® nominated team of director Pete Docter ("Monsters, Inc.") and co-director Bob Peterson comes "Up," a comedic adventure taking off (and lifting spirits) in summer 2009. Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate (and a persistent 8-year old Wilderness Explorer named Russell) gives him a new lease on life. "Up" takes audiences on a thrilling journey where the unlikely pair encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains and jungle creatures. When seeking adventure next summer — look "Up."

Here is the official synopsis Newt:

What happens when the last remaining male and female blue-footed newts on the planet are forced together by science to save the species, and they can’t stand each other? That’s the problem facing Newt and Brooke, heroes of "newt," the Pixar film by seven-time Academy Award® winner for sound Gary Rydstrom, and director of Pixar’s Oscar-nominated short, "Lifted." Newt and Brooke embark on a perilous, unpredictable adventure and discover that finding a mate never goes as planned, even when you only have one choice. Love, it turns out, is not a science.

Here is the official synopsis for The Bear and the Bow:

A rugged and mythic Scotland is the setting for Pixar’s action-adventure "The Bear and the Bow." The impetuous, tangle-haired Merida, though a daughter of royalty, would prefer to make her mark as a great archer. A clash of wills with her mother compels Merida to make a reckless choice, which unleashes unintended peril on her father’s kingdom and her mother’s life. Merida struggles with the unpredictable forces of nature, magic and a dark, ancient curse to set things right. Director Brenda Chapman ("The Prince of Egypt," "The Lion King") and the storytelling wizards of Pixar conjure humor, fantasy and excitement in this rich Highland tale. It’s voice talent is as follows: Reese Witherspoon, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson.

Last but not least the official Cars 2 synopsis:

All the world’s a racetrack as racing superstar Lightning McQueen zooms back into action, with his best friend Mater in tow, to take on the globe’s fastest and finest in this thrilling high-octane new installment of the "Cars" saga. Mater and McQueen will need their passports as they find themselves in a new world of intrigue, thrills and fast-paced comedic escapades around the globe. "Cars 2" is being directed by Brad Lewis, producer of the Oscar®- winning film "Ratatouille."

I'm proud to say that I was the first to tell you that there would be a Cars 2 last July.

Also announced is that Disney•Pixar will release every animated film starting with Up, in Disney Digital 3-D.

Brad Lews to Direct a Pixar Feature Film!

Ratatouille producer Brad Lewis will soon be directing a feature film for Pixar! This morning Brad told Collider this great news!

“I’m going to direct my next film, but that hasn’t been announced yet so that isn’t something I can break for you today.”

I know Pixar’s one-feature-film-a-year slate is filled up until at least 2012, so when should we expect this film to be released? Well Brad says in an earlier video interview that he is not working either WALL-E (Andrew Stanton's Film), Up (Pete Doctor's film), Toy Story 3 (Lee Unkrich's film), or John Carter of Mars (Andrew Stanton's other film(s)), so this film is in very early development and so it's hard to say when it will come out, but you can probably expect the film to come out some time in 2011, 2012, 2013, or 2014.

You can watch todays video interview with Brad Lewis, Brad Bird, John Lasseter, Michael Giacchino, Brian Dennehy, and Andrew Jimenez at Collider.com!

Lewis, and Romano talk Ratatouille, WALL•E, and Up!

Collider.com had the chance to sit down and talk with a lot of the Ratatouille cast and Producer, but the audio interviews that stood out in my mind were the Brad Lewis and Lou Romano interviews. Take a listen to Brad Lewis's interview here, and listen to Lou's here.

Here are a few facts from WALL-E and Up.

"Warning" may contain spoilers.

WALL-E fact: The first 3rd of WALL-E will have no dialog at all, it's all vocalizations.

Up fact #1: Up mostly takes place in a jungle here on earth.

Up fact #2: Up takes place in the present day, but starts in the past of the main charters life, and then progress to the present day.

Another thing I found interesting is that Pixar took a trip to
Venezuela for research on Up.

New Unannounced Pixar Project!

Brad Lewis (producer of Ratatouille) is working on a yet to be announced Pixar project, he tell us this in these 2 video.(fast forward near the end of each video)

Here’s the video from YouTube, and here’s the video from IESB.net

We know that he is not working either WALL-E, Up, Toy Story 3, or John Carter of Mars. In the video from IESB.net he tell us that he does not know when Pixar will announce this film.

This project just might be the also yet to be announced Gary Rydstrom Feature Film for Pixar or either the unannounced Brenda Chapman Feature Film. We'll just have to wait and see.

We know that this project will be released after Toy Story 3 according to Brad Lewis. I expect this film to be released in between Toy Story 3 and John Carter of Mars, probably around 2011, and John Carter of Mars around 2012, but it’s way too early to say right now.

I can’t wait to get more news about this new Pixar project!

So there you have it!
